ART
![](images/bd07208_.gif) |
|
|
|
|
|
Art, as a
creative process, is taught throughout the school. Children
learn to develop their artistic skills using media in both two and
three dimensions. The history and appreciation of art become
increasingly significant as pupils proceed through the school.
The teaching of art is often integrated in other curriculum areas in
order to enhance the total learning experience. |

DESIGN
AND TECHNOLOGY ![](images/bs00175_.gif) |

|
|
This is
another area that is integrated with topic work. All children
will be encouraged to recognise a need for design and be expected to
discuss possible ideas. They choose one of these ideas; plan,
make, and try it out; and finally test how effective the end product
is! |
