The
support and co-operation of all parents, in the application of our
code of behaviour and maintaining discipline, is invaluable.
We aim to promote good working relationships between parents and
staff so that high standards of behaviour and positive attitudes are
encouraged both in school and at home.
It is the
aim of this school to develop consideration and respect for others,
and thus the only rigid rules made for the safety and contentment of
both children and adults. Pupils are made aware of these rules
when they enter school and at regular intervals throughout their
school life.
They are
also encouraged to make up their own rules in their own classrooms,
and this, we believe, helps to reinforce their understanding and
appreciation of the necessity for rules, and a proper regard for
authority.
We expect
all pupils to behave in a way that will enable the aims of our
school to be achieved.
We expect
our pupils to display the following personal qualities at all times
Honesty
Reliability
Consideration for
the thoughts and feelings of others
Respect for
personal property and the property of others
Punctuality and
regular attendance
The
discipline and bullying policies are available for parents to read
on request.
