If
your child is absent, please notify the school office by telephone
or letter. It is important that all absences are accounted
for, as any without notification will be regarded as
'unauthorised'. For further guidance please contact the school
office. A form requesting permission from the headteacher for
absence due to family holiday (maximum two weeks per annum) may also
be obtained from the office.

Medicines |
|
|
We
feel that children who are ill should not be in school.
However, if medicine is prescribed and they are well enough to
attend school without affecting the health of the other children and
staff we are prepared to administer medicine if parents write to the
headteacher |
Illness |

It
is essential that you keep your child at home if they are ill.
Please do not send them to school if they are unwell, as being at
school will make them feel worse and there are no facilities to
cater for sick children.
If your child has had
sickness or diarrhoea, then they must stay at home for 24 hours
after the symptoms have ended.
If your child becomes
ill whilst at school you will be contacted immediately so that you
can take him or her home. It is therefore essential that the
school has an up to date telephone number and address where you can
be contacted. The school should also be given an emergency
contact in case you should be unavailable.
